When and where is the conference?
The 2024 Norma Minch Andrisek Leadership Conference will be July 18-21 at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio.

Who should plan to attend?
The conference is designed for emerging chapter leaders. Please plan to send members who your chapter considers to be the future of the Sorority. The conference will not focus on specific officer positions, but rather how Delta Zeta members can develop their leadership skills to change the world.

How many members of our chapter can attend?
There is no limit to the number of chapter members who can attend. Please note that we are encouraging emerging chapter leaders, so we are asking that Chapter Presidents do not register but instead find another member to send to this leadership experience.

What does my chapter have to pay?
The chapter should plan to pay each member’s registration fee ($595) and any travel costs, such as airfare, as well as the cost of the Delta Zeta shuttle ($100 charged at registration) to and from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky airport (airport code: CVG), if needed. If you are responsible for paying for your own registration, you may charge the registration (and shuttle, if applicable) to a credit card at the time of registration.

How does my Vice President of Finance send payment?
During the registration process, the member will indicate the chapter will pay with scheduled payment to National Headquarters in Billhighway. After registering, the member should ask the Chapter Vice President of Finance to submit payment. The registration fees will be applied to the chapter’s statement with National Headquarters. Another chapter officer or advisor cannot register for someone else in the chapter.

How do we register members?
Chapter members attending the conference must register themselves at www.dzsorority.deltazeta.org/nmalc. Another chapter officer or advisor cannot register for someone else in the chapter.

I registered, but now I can no longer attend. What are my options?
Another member may attend in your place. Please notify DZConference@deltazeta.org, prior to June 30, with the name of the member attending in your place. If you need to request a refund, please contact DZConference@deltazeta.org, however, cancellation refunds are not given after June 14, 2024.

What is the conference dress code?
Dress during the conference is casual with themes for each day. Any shorts or skirts should be of appropriate length and not indecently short. Please note the weather in Ohio in July can be hot and humid, and we will be staying on campus and walking between buildings. Comfortable shoes are a must. The dress themes are outlined below:

Thursday 7/18 – Rep Your Letters Day

Friday 7/19 – Pink Day

Saturday 7/20 – Green Day

Sunday 7/21 – School Spirit Day

What else should I pack?
You may want to bring an umbrella, extra pillow (as you are staying in the residence halls) or blanket, shower shoes, robe and any toiletries you may need.

I can’t come the entire time. Should I still plan to attend?
No. If you cannot attend the entire conference, which begins at dinner on Thursday night and ends at noon on Sunday, please plan to have another member of your chapter attend.

What airport should we use?
Delta Zeta will provide a shuttle, for an additional fee, from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky (CVG) airport to Miami University’s campus. Those flying into a different airport will need to find their own transportation to Oxford.

I’m driving. Will there be parking?
Yes, parking will be available at the residence halls where you will be staying.

Will I be able to visit National Headquarters?
In preparation for the NMALC events, National Headquarters will be closed on Thursday to welcome you for your tour of the National Museum and Headquarters on Friday.

If the chapter is paying for the members’ registration fee, what should be used for the PO Number?
Collegiate chapter officers and volunteers whose chapters are paying via Billhighway should select Pay Later on the payment screen, and enter their initials to have the charges placed on the chapter's statement. The PO Number should be their initials.

We have more questions which weren’t answered here. Who do we ask?
Please contact DZConference@deltazeta.org if we have not covered your questions.
