Who should attend the Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit?
Chapter Presidents, Vice Presidents of Membership and Vice Presidents of Philanthropy are all invited to attend the Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit. All attendees will have the opportunity to visit Starkey World Headquarters on Saturday, January 31, 2026.
If I am unable to attend, can I send someone in my place?
There are no substitutions as these conferences are intended for specific officer positions only.

What should I wear during the Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit?
We expect that attendees will represent Delta Zeta professionally while traveling, and in the hotel, as there will be other guests present.
Friday (Travel Day) – Rep Your Letters
On this day, we encourage you to wear your favorite Delta Zeta letters including block letter t-shirts, long sleeve t-shirts, hoodies or pullovers. Pair this with your favorite pair of slacks, jeans or skirt. Please do not wear leggings, sweats or athletic shorts.
Saturday – Pink and Green Business/Badge Attire
On this day for the visit to the Starkey World Headquarters, we ask that you dress in business or badge attire and wear outfits that celebrate your pink and green pride! Any dresses or skirts should be of appropriate length. No jeans or athletic wear please. Whatever you decide, just remember, we want to highlight the pink and green spirit of Delta Zeta!
Sunday – School Spirit
On our final day, show your school pride by wearing your favorite t-shirt, sweatshirt, long sleeve t-shirt or pullover showing how much you love your school! Pair that school pride top with jeans, slacks or a skirt of your choice. Please do not wear any leggings, sweats or athletic shorts.
When and where is the Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit?
The 2026 Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit will be held January 30-February 1, 2026, at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Attendees will be provided with hotel accommodation by National Headquarters. On Saturday, January 31, 2026, attendees will be transported to the William F. Austin Center at Starkey World Headquarters.
What is the rooming policy for the Leader Summit and Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit?
Rooms are double occupancy. Student officers will be paired at random with other student officers. Roommate requests may be submitted on the registration form. Every attempt to accommodate mutually submitted roommate requests will be made. Requests must be submitted by both roommates. If all three attendees from a chapter wish to room together, please submit all three names on the roommate request. Roommate requests from the same chapter must be mutually requested. Roommate requests must be submitted on the registration form by January 5, 2026. All questions regarding rooming may be sent to DZConference@deltazeta.org.
When should I plan to arrive and depart Minneapolis, MN?
Refer to the event tabs for more detailed information. Registration is from 2:00-6:00 p.m. on January 30 and the Dinner/Opening Session begins at 5:30 p.m. The Closing Session ends at 11:30 a.m. on February 1. Please consider the travel time to the airport and checking in when planning your departure.
What is included in the registration fee?
The registration fee includes hotel rooms, meals and all conference material that will be provided upon check-in.
Do I need to book my own flight and hotel room?
Attendees are responsible for arranging their own travel to the Minneapolis Marriott City Center and will be reimbursed up to $300 each for travel after the event has concluded. Delta Zeta will provide airport shuttle transportation back to the Minneapolis-Saint Paul Airport on Sunday, February 1, departing at 11:45 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. If attendees do not wish to utilize the shuttle, transportation must be coordinated independently. Delta Zeta will be coordinating all hotel accommodation on your behalf.
Once I land at the airport, how do I get to the hotel?
The Minneapolis Marriott City Center does not provide a hotel shuttle. Ride Share (Uber/Lyft), taxi, or car service is recommended.
Who should I contact if I need to cancel my registration?
If you are no longer able to attend, please contact Delta Zeta National Headquarters, by January 16, 2026, at DZConference@deltazeta.org, and copy your Regional Collegiate Director on your email.
How do I submit my travel reimbursement?
The chapter should submit an expense report for the airline ticket expense, up to $300 each for travel to and from the Leader Summit and the Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit. Your expense report must include a detailed receipt for the flight you purchased. My campus is hosting primary recruitment the same weekend as the Leader Summit and the Tani Austin Ignite the Flame Philanthropy Summit. What should I do?
